Caritas-Spes Ukraine

The project “Assistance to disabled children” works in Bar. It provides constant care for 50 people aged from 7 to 17 years. The project runs since 2000. Regular meetings "among friends", chess and draughts tournaments, watching films, puppet shows, guided tours, visits to children limited in moving, providing humanitarian assistance – are main areas of activities of this project. Volunteers, methodologists and members of group “Mercy” from Centre of out-of-school work with children and teenagers of the district education department, RCP of St. Anna take part in the activity of the project.

A social office, where different consultations are given for 15 people a day works in Kharkiv. It is functioning 5 times a week.

Social services at Kiev Social Center. More than a thousand visits are made per year (delivery of food and clothes, cleaning homes, visiting at hospital). A laundry works at the Social Center, and our beneficiaries can use it. Also they can take a shower. The clothes aid may be delivered by mail. Delivery of humanitarian aid to other cities of Ukraine is also possible at written request.

The Center of social help, where five people work, started its activities in Stryi.
